Overflow Hotel is Available!

Due to the overwhelming response to the 1st Safe Routes to School National Conference, the block of rooms at the Dearborn Inn has been exceeded and extended to capacity. We have confirmed an overflow block of rooms at the nearby Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel at the lower rate of $109 plus tax.

To make your reservation at the Hyatt at this lower rate, call 313-593-1234 and refer to the Safe Routes to School Conference room block. The conference will provide shuttle service to and from the Hyatt Regency during the conference. A schedule will be posted on the web site later in October.

The Hyatt Regency is located at 600 Town Center in Dearborn, Michigan. Their web site address is http://dearborn.hyatt.com. The hotel features 772 guestrooms with an oversized work desk, the plush new Hyatt Grand beds, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, high-speed and Wi-Fi Internet access, full service business center, gift shop and car rental services. There are two excellent restaurants at the hotel and room service is offered. The Hyatt can also arrange your airport transportation.

Conference Hotel and Venue

A block of rooms for conference participants is being held at the historic Dearborn Inn (a Marriott property), the site of all conference sessions. The conference rate is $129 for a single or double room; $139 for a triple or quad; and $219 for the colonial homes accommodations. To receive the conference rate, registrations must be made by October 14, after which all rooms are released to the public and the conference rate may not be available. Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14%). Reservations can be made by calling Marriott reservations at 800-228-9290 or 313-271-2700. Reference the Safe Routes to School conference to receive the rate. The room block is available for the nights of Sunday, November 4th, Monday, November 5th and Tuesday, November 6th.
